| | FINANCIAL INFIDELITY
I
just saw an interesting topic on the Today Show and I thought I would
share what I heard. They say that "Financial Infidelity" is about as
bad as actually cheating on your spouse. It's actually when people
spend money in a secretive way, usually money that they shouldn't be
spending or spending in a way that could be detrimental to the
marriage.
Tips to help you stay away from this:
#1 Establish your own accounts #2 Set 'Don't Ask, Don't Tell' limits (within your budget in your own account) #3 Hold monthly money meetings #4 Validate your value #5 Run your home like a business
Validate
your value would be for parents that stay at home. You need to decide
what that job would be worth if you were to hire someone to do those
things for you. If you are taking care of the kids, cleaning the
house, cooking and managing the home. Be the CEO of your household. |
